​THE SUMMER

This dance was choreographed during the summer of 2024 in the traditional Chinese Northeastern Yangge style. It was featured in the 2024 Peninsula International Dance Festival. While creating this piece, I felt a deep connection to my cultural roots and rediscovered the joy and experience of performing Chinese folk dance.
